Holding an MSc in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Leeds, he has led multi-million-dollar projects, provided humanitarian and development assistance, and integrated climate adaptation into national and regional initiatives.
A sought-after speaker and trainer, Mr. Mbayo has advised governments, humanitarian agencies, and global organizations including WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, OXFAM, UNOPS, and CRS. His work spans emergency response, infrastructure development, and policy engagement, consistently bridging water, health, climate change, and chemical safety for sustainable impact.

Christine Akasing Nkerifac is a results-driven Environmental Health and WASH Specialist with over eight years of experience designing and leading programs across Africa. As a Technical Officer with the World Health Organization, she supports 47 countries in strengthening environmental health systems, with expertise in chemical safety, waste management, and WASH. With a Master’s in Environmental Engineering and a Doctorate in progress, Christine blends technical expertise, field experience, and innovative, equity-focused approaches to deliver sustainable impact in public health and environmental resilience.

Monjoa Monono Zita is a highly skilled WASH and environmental engineering professional with extensive experience in humanitarian and development contexts across Africa. She has served in several institutions most especially at the international space where she provided technical guidance to 47 member states on climate-resilient WASH systems, health adaptation planning, and emergency response. Zita has led impactful interventions in complex settings, increasing access to safe water and sanitation, developing innovative assessment tools, and training stakeholders on sustainable WASH practices. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Engineering, a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and is fluent in English and French. Zita combines technical expertise, policy insight, and a strong commitment to equity, sustainability, and public health resilience..
